Small high-end book binders often produce specialized books and catalogs that larger printing companies don’t bother with. Think car catalogs, annual reports and any type of bindery work that has highly coated, heavy UV paper that is printed in limited quantities. These products require a “one-shot” EVA type hot melt for the spine and a pressure-sensitive hot melt glue for joining pages. While others also may need quickpad or other padding compound.
Each specialty printing job is unique and these smaller bindery companies often cannot afford to keep the types of adhesives they need in stock. That’s where we come in.
